17^TH ANNUAL KAWARTHA CHALLENGE TOURNAMENT

When?     September 17^th,18^th, and 19^th, 2010

Where?    Peterborough, Ontario

                   Evinrude Centre,  Kinsmen Arena

Entry Fee  $900.00

This in an O.M.H.A. sanctioned tournament for “AAA” teams or equivalent in:

Novice,  Minor Atom, and Atom Divisions

Each team is guaranteed  4 games in the round-robin

Each game consists of two—ten minute periods, and a 15 minute third period.

Each team will play 2 games on Friday, Sept. 17th, and 2 games on Saturday, Sept. 18th./10

Finals are on Sunday, September 19^th/10

Many teams have used this tournament as an opportunity to have their teams together for the first time in the season and as chance to get away  and “bond” together as a group

Since the weather is still quite pleasant at this time of year, some teams have chosen to stay at summer resorts in the area.  A list of these will be provided up on request and will be listed on the Peterborough Minor Petes website.
