The Paul Tinney Motors Major Midget AAA Petes competed in a National Junior Prospects Hockey League Showcase Tournament this past weekend in Rochester, New York. In their first game, the Petes and the Lake Erie Warriors U18’s skated to a 3-3 tie. The Paul Tinney Motors Major Midget Petes played the Central Ontario Wolves Oct. 30 in Lindsay and earned a 1-1 tie. Scoring for the Petes was Shawn Mackie from Erik Brown and Alexander Sifton. Wayne Fryer played a strong game in goal for the Petes. In the return match at the Memorial Center on Nov. 5  the Petes skated to a 6-4 victory.
